4. The monastery is the name of the place that brings peace. Or call the Thai word "temple."
Together, "Maha Dee Nak Phu Ram Temple," which means that the temple of Tana Nak, Grandma Phu Phu Nu, with the people of Ban Maha Dee Nourish.

"คุณยายพุฒ หุ่นสวัสดิ์ เป็นคนชอบทำบุญอยู่เป็นประจำ วัดที่ท่านไปทำบุญบ่อยๆ แต่ก่อนนั้น คือวัดงิ้วราย และ วัดสุวรรณารามเป็นบางครั้ง ซึ่งอยู่ไกลบ้านและการเดินทางก็ไม่สะดวกเท่าที่ควร จนคุณยายย่างเข้าสู่วัยชรา ประกอบกับสุขภาพ ทรุดโทรมลงตามวัยสังขาร ถึงกระนั้นคุณยายก็ยังไปทำบุญที่วัดทุกวันพระอยู่เป็นประจำมิได้ขาด ลูกๆ ของท่านเล่าให้ฟังว่า “ทุกๆ วันพระคุณยายต้องไปทำบุญที่วัดเสมอ ถึงขนาดว่าเป็นไข้ไม่สบาย ลูกๆ พากันห้ามไว้มิให้เดินทางไปวัดให้พักผ่อนอยู่บ้าน คุณยายมีอันต้องโกรธ ไม่พูดด้วยเลยทีเดียว และบางครั้ง ยังแอบหนีลูกๆ ไปวัดก็เคยมี” จนคุณวาด สุขสำราญ บุตรสาวของท่าน และ คุณน้อม สุขสำราญ ลูกเขยของท่าน ได้ปรึกษาหารือ กับคุณยายว่าให้ถวายที่สร้างวัดเองดีกว่าจะได้อยู่ใกล้ ไปทำบุญก็สะดวก คุณยาย พร้อมทั้งลูก ๆ จึงได้ไปปรึกษากับท่านเจ้าคุณพระศีลาจารพิพัฒน์ ( แจ่ม ธุวาโภ ) มรณภาพแล้วเมื่อวันที่ ๗ ธันวาคม พ.ศ. ๒๕๓๕ เมื่อครั้งที่ท่านยังดำรงสมณศักดิ์เป็นพระครูสุนทรโฆษิต วัดพระเชตุพนฯ กรุงเทพฯ และได้นิมนต์ท่านเป็นประธานในการสร้างวัด ท่านเจ้าคุณศีลาจารพิพัฒน์พร้อมทั้งคุณยายและลูกๆ ของท่านรวมทั้งชาวบ้านมหาสวัสดิ์ จึงได้เริ่มลงมือก่อสร้างวัดขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๒๑ โดยที่คุณยายพุฒ หุ่นสวัสดิ์ เป็นผู้ถวายที่สร้างวัดทั้งหมด และกรมการศาสนา กระทรวงศึกษาธิการได้ออกหนังสือ อนุญาตให้สร้างวัดได้ ณ วันที่ ๒๓ มกราคม พ.ศ. ๒๕๒๓
ลูกๆ ของคุณยายจึงหมดหวงไมตองกังวลเรื่องการเดินทางไปทำบุญที่วัดไกลบานอีกตอไป จนในที่สุดรางกายสังขารของ คุณยายก็ถึงกาลเสื่อมโทรมไปตามกาลเวลา คุณยายไดถึงแกกรรม เมื่อวันที่ ๒๖ เมษายน พ.ศ. ๒๕๒๙ และเพื่อเปนอนุสรณระลึก นึกถึงคุณยายและความเปนผูใจบุญของทานจึง พรอมใจกันตั้งชื่อวัดวา “วัดมหาสวัสดิ์นาคพุฒาราม” แตละคำมีความหมายดังนี้
๑. มหาสวัสดิ์ เปนชื่อของหมูบานที่อุปถัมภบำรุงและสรางวัด
๒. นาค เปนชื่อสามีคุณยายพุฒ
๓. พุฒ เปนชื่อคุณยายพุฒผูถวายที่สรางวัด
๔. อาราม เปนชื่อสถานที่นำความสงบรมรื่นมาให หรือเรียกเปนคำไทยวา “วัด”
รวมกันแลว “วัดมหาสวัสดิ์นาคพุฒาราม” แปลวา วัดตานาค คุณยายพุฒ หุนสวัสดิ์ ที่มีชาวบาน มหาสวัสดิ์อุปถัมภบำรุง
