วัดบางภาษี
"Some tax temples are early temples that carry out the construction of temples. There is no evidence of who built the land that the construction belonged to, and when it was built. "วัดบางภาษีเป็นวัดในยุคแรกที่ทำการก่อสร้างวัดไม่ปรากฏหลักฐานว่าใครเป็นผู้สร้าง ที่ดินที่ทำการก่อสร้าง เป็นของผู้ใด และ ก่อสร้างเมื่อใด ไม่ปรากฏหลักฐานตั้งแต่ได้รับพระราชทานวิสุงคามสีมาจาก พระบาทสมเด็จ พระปรมินทรมหาประชาธิปก พระปกเกล้า เจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ ๗ เมื่อวันที่ ๘ เมษายน พ.ศ. ๒๔๗๒ ตามหลักฐาน ที่ได้รับพระราชทานวิสุงคามสีมาชื่อว่า วัดปากคลองบางภาษี ตั้งอยู่บริเวณปากคลองบางภาษี อำเภอบางปลา (บางเลน) จังหวัดนครชัยศรี (นครปฐม)
จากคำสันนิษฐานของผู้สูงอายุเชื่อว่า ชื่อวัดปากคลองบางภาษีนั้นเนื่องมาจากในการก่อสร้างวัดมีผู้มีจิตศรัทธา สาธุชนร่วมกัน ก่อสร้างวัดหลายคน การตั้งชื่อวัดจึงมิได้ตั้งชื่อตามชื่อของผู้ก่อตั้งวัด และเพื่อให้เกิดศรัทธาแก่สาธุชน โดยทั่วไป จึงตั้งชื่อวัดตามตำบลที่ ตั้งของวัด ประกอบกับที่ตั้งของวัดอยู่บริเวณปากคลองริมแม่น้ำท่าจีน (แม่น้ำ นครชัยศรี) จึงตั้งชื่อว่า วัดปากคลองบางภาษี ในสมัยนั้น ในปัจจุบัน
