วัดอรัญญิการาม (สามง่าม)
Wat Sam Ngam was established by Phra Phong Daeng together with the local villagers at that time. Phra Phong Daeng was the uncle of Phra Phong Tao Kong Thong. Originally, he was a monk ordained at Wat Kahlong in Samut Sakhon Province and brought young Phra Tao, who was a child then, to stay with him. In the year 1901, Phra Phong Daeng took 10-year-old boy Tao out of Wat Kahlong in Samut Sakhon Province to establish a temple in the area of Tum City in Nakhon Pathom Province, which was an ancient abandoned city (now the site of Wat Don Tum built later). He established the temple for 3 years but faced many obstacles due to its distance from the community, making it inconvenient for villagers to visit. Therefore, he moved to build a new temple in the area of Ban Sam Ngam, which is the current location of the temple.
Previously, this area was the site of a sugarcane mill owned by a Chinese named Pai, with the Jang Ngam Canal and Thung Rang Thong Canal connecting to form three forks, hence the community was called "Ban Sam Ngam." At that time, the sugarcane mill was robbed, and Pai was killed by thieves, leaving the land abandoned without caretakers. Pai's daughter then gave the land to Phra Phong Daeng to build a temple. In 1904, Phra Phong Daeng came to establish the temple at Ban Sam Ngam, bringing 13-year-old boy Tao to stay with him. In 1906, Phra Phong Daeng ordained boy Tao as a novice monk at the age of 15, and he remained a novice until his full ordination in 1908. This newly established temple was granted the ecclesiastical boundary and named "Wat Aranyikaram."

วัดสามง่ามสร้างขึ้นโดยหลวงพ่อแดงร่วมกับชาวบ้านสมัยนั้น หลวงพ่อแดงนี้เป็นลุงของหลวงพ่อเต๋ คงทอง เดิมท่านเป็นพระบวชที่วัดกาหลง จังหวัดสมุทรสาคร ได้เอาหลวงพ่อเต๋ ขณะนั้นเป็นเด็กไปอยู่ด้วย โดยในปี พ.ศ. 2444 หลวงพ่อแดงได้พาเด็กชายเต๋ ขณะนั้นอายุ 10 ปี ออกจากวัดกาหลง จังหวัดสมุทรสาคร มาสร้างวัดขึ้นที่บริเวณเมืองตูม จังหวัดนครปฐม ซึ่งเป็นเมืองร้างเก่าแก่สมัยโบราณ (ปัจจุบันเป็นที่ตั้งวัดดอนตูมที่สร้างขึ้นภายหลัง) ท่านตั้งวัดได้ 3 ปี ประสบอุปสรรคมาก เนื่องจากอยู่ห่างไกลชุมชนและชาวบ้านไปมาไม่สะดวก ท่านจึงออกมาสร้างวัดขึ้นใหม่ที่บริเวณบ้านสามง่ามอันเป็นที่ตั้งวัดในปัจจุบัน
ก่อนหน้านั้นตรงบริเวณนี้ เป็นที่ตั้งโรงหีบอ้อยของเจ๊กไป๋ มีคลองแจงงามแลคลองทุ่งรางทอง มาเชื่อมติดต่อกันเป็น 3 ง่าม จึงเรียกชุมชนบริเวณนี้ว่า “บ้านสามง่าม” ขณะนั้นโรงหีบอ้อยของเจ๊กไป๋ถูกโจรปล้นและเจ๊กไป๋ถูกโจรฆ่าตาย ที่ดินได้ร้างขาดคนดูแลลูกสาวเจ๊กไป๋จึงยกที่ดินให้แก่หลวงพ่อแดง เพื่อทำการสร้างวัดปี พ.ศ. 2447 หลวงพ่อแดงได้มาสร้างวัดที่บ้านสามง่าม โดยนำเด็กชายเต๋ มาอยู่ด้วย ขณะนั้นอายุ 13 ปี ปี พ.ศ. 2449 หลวงพ่อแดงได้บวชเด็กชายเต๋ เป็นสามเณร ขณะอายุได้ 15 ปี ท่านได้ถือเพศสามเณรจนกระทั่งครบบวชปี พ.ศ. 2451 วัดที่สร้างขึ้นใหม่นี้ได้รับการพระราชทานวิสุงคามสีมา ในชื่อวัดว่า”วัดอรัญญิการาม”
