วัดสำโรง
Wat Samrong is an ancient temple, originally named Wat Samrong because there were Samrong trees in the area where the temple is located. The local villagers helped build three structures because this place often hosted monks who came to practice meditation. Later, the villagers felt that this location was suitable to be the site of Wat Pu Dam, the landowner, who then donated this land for the temple. The villagers of Samrong invited Phra Phikkhu Nuch to be the abbot, and Pu Dam, the landowner, also ordained as a monk and assisted Phra Phikkhu Nuch in developing the structures until there were monk's quarters, a dirt sala, and a small chapel suitable for ordination. The local villagers then named it Wat Samrong. Over time, Wat Samrong prospered, and the villagers agreed to change the temple's name.

วัดสําโรงเป็นวัดที่เก่าแก่ เดิมชื่อว่าวัดสามโรง เพราะที่ตั้งวัดนี้มีต้นสําโรงขึ้นอยู่ในบริเวณที่ตั้งวัด ชาวบ้านแถบนั้นได้ช่วยกันสร้างโรงขึ้นมา 3 หลังเพราะสถานที่นี้ได้มี พระภิกษุปักกลดอาศัยปฏิบัติธรรมอยู่บ่อยครั้ง ต่อมาชาวบ้านแถบนี้เห็นว่าสถานที่ตั้งนี้สมควรเป็นที่ตั้งวัดปู่ดํา ซึ่งเป็นเจ้าของที่จึงได้ถวายที่ตรงนี้ให้เป็นที่ตั้งวัดและชาวสามโรงจึงได้ไปอาราชธนาพระภิกษุนุช มาเป็นเจ้าอาวาสและปู่ดํา ซึ่งเป็นเจ้าของที่ดินก็ได้อุปสมบทเป็นภิกษุและได้ช่วยพระภิกษุนุช พัฒนาสิ่งก่อสร้างจนมี กุฏิ สงฆ์ ศาลาดิน และโบสถ์หลังเล็ก ๆ เป็นที่พอจะอุปสมบทได้ ชาวบ้านแถบนี้จึงได้ตั้งชื่อเรียกว่า วัดสามโรง กาลต่อมา วัดสามโรง ได้เจริญขึ้นมาตามลําดับชาวบ้านสําโรงได้เห็นตรงกันว่าให้เปลี่ยนชื่อวัดเสี
